✨ Features

  • Cinematic Hit-to-Sleep Sequence
    Victims play a bullet impact reaction animation, then transition smoothly into a sleeping pose — all hard-coded for consistent timing, no messy configs.

  • Blackout Screen Effect
    Screen fades out after a configurable delay, letting the “hit” animation fully play before the victim is taken out.

  • Job-Locked Authorization (Optional)
    Only whitelisted jobs (default: police) can tranquilize targets. Controlled server-side — cheaters can’t bypass it.

  • Framework-Aware
    Works with QBCore, ESX, or standalone. Detects player jobs from your framework automatically.

  • Cooldown Protection
    Prevents spam by limiting how often a player can tranquilize and gives victims immunity to the dart after an effect for 10 minutes.

  • Commands for testing.
    /tranqme to self-test or /tranq <id> to test on another player (admin-only). Perfect for quick setup verification.

⚙️ Configuration

config.lua Options:

  • BlackoutDelayMs – Delay before blackout starts (so you see the hit)

  • BlackoutTime – How long they stay out

  • JobLock – Enable/disable job restriction

  • AllowedJobs – Jobs that can use tranquilizers

  • TranquilizerWeapons – Weapon hashes that trigger the effect and wont do damage

Animations are hard-coded in the client for consistent RP playback — just like the classic weed-rolling scripts, but for tranq shots.

🛠 Installation

  1. Drag juice-tranquilizer into your server’s resources folder.

  2. Add ensure juice-tranquilizer to your server.cfg.

  3. Edit config.lua to set your allowed jobs, weapons, and timings.

  4. Restart your server and enjoy cinematic tranquilizer RP!
